Who provides the service

Thermal Bridging is a trading name of Ian Kay, 4 Grange Avenue, Warrington, WA4 1PN. Email [email protected] or call 0333 567 3427 about a quotation or project.

Your quotation

We provide 2D thermal bridging calculations based on supplied drawings and construction information. Your quotation identifies the details, variations, reports, price, payment arrangements and delivery date. Sending an enquiry does not book work or commit you to payment. Work is booked when the quotation and any agreed booking arrangements are accepted.

Scope and revisions

The agreed fee includes the calculations, reporting, advice and reasonable minor revisions described in your quote. We will explain and agree any additional fee before carrying out substantial redesigns or additional details. Corrections to our own work are free. Details requiring 3D analysis, site surveys and broader moisture investigations need a different scope.

Information and delivery

Please supply accurate drawings and specifications and tell us about changes. Delivery timing starts when we have the complete information and any agreed booking payment. We will explain the effect of missing information or changed details on the fee and programme.

Professional care

We carry out the agreed work with reasonable care and skill. The calculations represent the supplied detail under the stated modelling conditions. They do not guarantee a SAP pass, replace building control approval or verify the construction on site. You may share the paid reports with the project team and building control for the agreed project.

Cancellation

Contact us to cancel or postpone. If work has not started, payments for that work will be refunded. If work has started, we will explain the amount due for work properly carried out and refund any overpayment.

If you are a consumer entering a service contract at a distance, you normally have 14 days from entering the contract to cancel without giving a reason. Tell us by email, or use: “I wish to cancel my contract for [service], agreed on [date]. My name is [name] and my address is [address].” You do not have to use that wording.

We will obtain your express request before starting during that period. If you then cancel, a proportionate charge may apply for work provided. Your cancellation right ends on full performance only where the required early-start request and acknowledgement have been obtained. Otherwise we wait until the cancellation period has ended before starting consumer work.

Questions or complaints

Contact us with the project reference so we can investigate any concern and put matters right where required. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights or excludes liability where the law does not allow it. The quotation and terms agreed for your work apply; later website changes do not retrospectively change them.
